HR and People Manager

Position Description

We are growing and seeking a full-time HR & People Manager to join our team! We are looking for a talented professional who should oversee all human resources program elements, including hiring, benefits, training, compensation, and more. And also, be responsible for driving cultural change and improving transparency by linking management and employees in a fast-paced, high-volume startup atmosphere. Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:


  • Develop and implement HR & People strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Partner with management to proactively identify and help diagnose challenges and design effective solutions. Oversee and own programs and projects across the People team
  • Work closely with management to build out pipelines, attend events, and promote the ITUp brand as an outstanding global school
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to recruit, hire, and lead engagement initiatives
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
  • Maintain accurate and concise records regarding the recruitment and selection process within our Applicant Tracking System
  • Analysis of HR indicators (attrition, workforce management, recruitment, and engagement)
  • Develop and monitor overall HR & People strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program
  • Assess employees training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics (attrition, workforce management, recruitment, and engagement)
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

Requirements

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology or equivalent education
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to build successful relationships with employees and students (people of technical and non-technical backgrounds)
  • Solid understanding of English, both spoken and written (at least level B2 of the CEFR required)
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Spirit of initiative, autonomy, and great sense of responsibility
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills
  • Work as part of a team and in an ever-changing environment, and act in complex and nuanced situations with tact and a collaborative mindset

Preferred

  • CCP - Certificate of Pedagogical Skills or equivalent Teaching skills certificate (or the corporate equivalent)
  • Previous experience hiring, nurturing, and closing talent
  • Significant experience with passive candidate sourcing
  • Excellent communication, time management, and negotiation skills
